We were ecstatic when Michael Joseph, a Penguin Random House imprint, approached us to help create a buzz for one of their best selling author’s new book, The Burning Girls by C.J. Tudor.
Not only were we involved from the very start of the launch creating a variety of digital assets like quote cards and social media posts, but we were also given the exciting opportunity to take over the Sky On-Demand homepage for the book.
The challenge was to create a TV-quality video on a tight budget and within a 1 week timeframe. Traditional TV adverts cost thousands and take weeks to produce, but we were determined to make it happen. With our creativity and resourcefulness, we were able to come up with a solution that exceeded expectations and helped make the book launch a success.

Creating a TV-Quality Video Without Leaving the Studio
When faced with limited time and budget, we didn’t let it hold us back. We turned to stock video footage sites and put together a proposal using clips that were carefully selected to create a coherent video.
After approval, we colour graded each clip and added text transitions and sound effects to enhance the final product. By using only royalty-free clips and sound, the team was able to save the client money and deliver a high-quality video within budget.
Despite strict regulatory guidelines, the animation passed approvals with flying colours and was uploaded for use. Our team’s ingenuity and resourcefulness resulted in a TV quality video that was created entirely in-house using Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
By resizing the animation for various social media channels, we ensured maximum exposure and longevity for the client’s video.
