Long-Lasting Design
We prioritise creating products with longevity in mind. We understand the importance of reliability and aim to provide you with a highly-reliable platform that allows you to maintain your product with us or another provider. All of our products are purpose-built at our state-of-the-art studios located in the UK. We take pride in building and fully servicing every product we create, ensuring that it meets our high standards of quality and durability.
Reusability & Recyclability
We’re committed to sustainability and reducing our environmental impact. That’s why we’ve engineered our own supplies to be 100% reusable and recyclable. We also use lightweight materials to minimise wasteful distribution. We make every effort to use recycled stock whenever possible, as we believe in the beauty and potential of repurposed materials. Our exclusive artwork is crafted to enhance the inherent beauty of these recycled materials, creating unique and environmentally-conscious designs.
Sustainable Materials
We believe that cardboard is the world’s most sustainable packaging choice. With its recyclable, renewable, reusable, and biodegradable properties, cardboard is an environmentally-conscious option that we’re proud to use in our packaging designs.
Corrugated cardboard has the best recycling record of any packaging material in the UK, with a recycling rate of over 80%. This remarkable rate saves an area the size of Greater London from landfill every four months, which is a significant achievement.
We recognise that one-size-fits-all approaches to packaging are becoming outdated. That’s why we prioritise well-designed, “right-sized” packaging that maximises protection with minimal use of materials. This approach eliminates material waste and reduces the costs of storing and transporting unnecessarily large packaging.
Our well-designed packaging also reduces product damages, which leads to fewer returns and less wastage. We believe in sustainable packaging solutions that benefit both our clients and the environment.
Environmentally Friendly Factories
We are committed to creating a sustainable production process throughout the entire value chain, including our suppliers.
For instance, we partner with Miyota Saku Factory, which was established as a “green park” to minimise the effects on the environment. The facility has planted around 26,000 plants of 110 varieties to help regulate and lower ground surface temperatures throughout the year. “Green” micro-climate zones are also in place to prevent heat build-up and allow the natural rainwater to nourish the growing plants.
In addition, the factory has implemented LED lighting and high-efficiency compressors to reduce electricity and gas consumption. The building’s smart environmental controls utilise heat exhaust and cooling for an efficient air-conditioning system, contributing to lowering CO₂ emissions.
We believe in working with partners that prioritise sustainability and taking proactive steps to minimize the impact on the environment. It’s essential that we all work together to create a more sustainable future.
Sustainable Distribution
We believe in partnering with companies that prioritise sustainability, such as Royal Mail. With over 85,000 postmen and women, Royal Mail has the largest “Feet on the Street” network in the UK and already has the lowest reported carbon emissions per parcel of any major UK delivery company.
But they don’t stop there. Royal Mail is committed to taking action to continually reduce emissions, waste, and improve air quality in the communities where they operate. They invest in technologies such as electric vehicles, drones, alternative fuel trucks, and energy improvements to their estate to achieve their environmental ambitions.
